Dr. Andrea Marino (Coherent, The Netherlands-Italy) delivered a seminar at the University of Brescia on Monday 08 April 2024 entitled «LASER: a Colorful World of Opportunities».

Abstract. The seminar “LASER: a Colorful World of Opportunities » is designed to inspire Master and PhD students, as well Postdocs from scientific backgrounds to recognize the diverse range of
possibilities their technical degrees can offers. Using laser technology as a prime example, and
structured into two distinctive parts, we will discuss how foundational knowledge in science and
specialized expertise can unlock myriad opportunities across academia and industry.
