Dr. Qingfeng Li (Thorlabs Inc.) and Dr. Anna Horoschenkoff (Menlo Systems Inc.) delivered a workshop entitled « High Precision Laser Metrology and Ultrafast Laser Solutions » at the University of Jena (Germany) on October 22nd, 2024.

Abstract. The industrial representatives delivered a workshop high precision laser metrology and ultrafast laser solutions and invited for a hands-on roadshow open to all EMIMEP master students.

Bio. Dr. Anna Horoschenkoff is a Sales Engineer for Frequency Combs and Ultrastable Lasers at Menlo Systems GmbH, based in Martinsried near Munich, Germany. She holds a Master’s degree in Photonics and Engineering Physics from the Munich University of Applied Sciences. At Menlo Systems, Dr. Horoschenkoff supports academic and industrial customers working in fields such as optical clocks, quantum technologies, precision metrology, and spectroscopy. Her expertise lies in ultrastable laser systems and optical frequency comb technology.

Dr. Qingfeng Li is Academic Sales Engineer at Thorlabs. Optics is his vocation since 2009. He has the fortune to learn optics with the world’s greatest scientists. Lasering lights, modulating their propagation, and availing their delivered energies and information are so much fun. He is eager to bring all that He has learned to the jobs that (at least try to) make this planet better.
