A Warm Welcome for Our International Students

On February 18th, 2025, the University of Brescia opened its doors to a vibrant group of international students, including those from our esteemed EMIMEP and other Erasmus students. To celebrate their arrival and foster a sense of community, the International Office organised the Erasmus Welcome Day—a special event designed to help students settle in, connect with peers, and discover all that Brescia has to offer.

Moving to a new country can be both exciting and challenging. The Erasmus Welcome Day aimed to ease the transition by providing a supportive and inclusive environment. For the EMIMEP students, this event was also a chance to meet new students, professors & staff, ensuring they feel fully integrated into the academic community from day one.

What to Expect at the Erasmus Welcome Day

The Erasmus Welcome Day is more than just an orientation—it’s an opportunity for students to:

• Meet the Team: Connect with staff from the International Office, academic coordinators, and local student mentors who will guide them through their semester abroad.
• Explore Brescia: Learn about the city’s rich history, cultural highlights, and practical tips for daily life, from transportation to local cuisine.
• Build Networks: Engage with fellow Erasmus and Erasmus Mundus students, creating friendships and professional connections that will last beyond their studies.
• Get Practical Support: Receive essential information about administrative procedures, academic resources, and support services available at the University of Brescia
